As a B2B platform based in Singapore, we adhere to the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

In the context of the PDPA, Marvelous typically acts as a Data Intermediary (Processor) regarding the data our Customers upload to our platform. Our Customers act as the Organization (Controller). We process such data only according to the Customer’s instructions.

We collect information in three ways: information you provide to us, information we collect automatically, and information from third parties.


2.1 Information You Provide


  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, business email address, password, and business contact information.
  • Customer Support: If you contact us for support, we collect the content of your communication and any technical details you provide.
  • Payment Information: We use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to handle payments. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically


  • Log Data: Like most SaaS platforms, we collect IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and the pages you visit on our site.
  • Cookies & Tracking: We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how you interact with our Service.

2.3 Information from Third Parties


  • Single Sign-On (SSO): If you sign up using Google, Microsoft, or Slack, we receive your name and email address from those providers.

We use your information for the following purposes:


  • To Provide the Service: Operating the platform and maintaining your account.
  • Product Improvement: Analyzing usage data to fix bugs and design new features.

  • Access & Correction: You can access or update your account information directly within the Marvelous platform settings.
  • Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw consent for marketing emails via the "unsubscribe" link. Note that withdrawing consent for essential data may result in the termination of your account.
  • Data Portability: You may request a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format.
6. Data Security and Retention
  • Security: We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures (encryption at rest and in transit) to protect your data.
  • Retention: We store your personal data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. When we no longer need the information, we will delete or anonymize it.
7. International Data Transfers
Marvelous is based in Singapore. If we transfer data to servers located outside of Singapore, we ensure that the recipient provides a standard of protection to the personal data so transferred that is comparable to the protection under the PDPA.
